But If You Need To Do Set Up Your Own Web Site
And Do Things Your Way That Is Okay Too..... Just Don't Spam!!!
When you set up your
domain and web space you should have also been given the facility of at
least one email account.
You have to set this up
to send and receive on the email browser on your own computer,
(Microsoft Outlook or whatever) just like you did when you started with
whatever email account you use now.
Very often you receive
anything@yourdomain.com
once the account is set up in your email browser. This is called a
"Catch all" for the obvious reason that it catches all emails aimed at
your domain.
Generally, when you
choose an outgoing specific address, you are asked if you want it to be
a "Catchall". It is a good idea to make one email address a Catchall as
this stops emails going adrift when people try to get you with things
like, "info@yourdomain.com"
and so forth.
Simply follow the
instructions in your email browser. Microsoft Outlook certainly has full
instructions. If you use Godaddy you will get plenty of help.
