 Question

  What is The Gold Project™?

 Answer

  • The Gold Project contracts with a company, a mint approved broker that purchases at wholesale legal tender American Eagle gold coins and American Eagles 1 oz. silver coins. Our coins are mint fresh meaning they have never been sold or put into circulation. We do not Buy coins from a secondary market. While the coins may not have the date of the current year they are nevertheless straight from the mint to our customers as the first time user. There is no relationship or affiliation between the Company and any government Mint. Neither the Company nor its marketing plan has been endorsed or approved by any Mint, government, state attorney general or other regulatory authority or agency, whether local, state, provincial, national or federal, domestic or foreign.
  • The Company does not pay for No Support ISRs. Commissions are paid on all sales of subscriptions whether or not the customer elects to qualify as an ISR. One may become a customer without becoming an ISR; conversely, one may become and remain an ISR without ever making a purchase. Independent Sales Representatives (ISRs) can earn direct and indirect commissions from generating sales of the products.
  • A qualified ISR may earn commissions from selling products to third parties, whether or not any of those customers subsequently elect to qualify as an ISR, as well as from Buying from himself; or an ISR may elect to build a sales organization and receive indirect commissions from sales and purchases generated by his sales organization, as well as direct commissions from those sales and purchases he personally generates.
  • Our ISRs are not distributors re-selling products from inventories they have purchased; they are merely “order takers.” Each sale is consummated only upon acceptance by the Company at its office in Michigan, and products are shipped by independent common carrier directly to the end-user consumer. Title to the product never passes to the ISR but directly from the Company to the customer.
  • Our ISRs are independent contractors who, in addition to determining whether to work alone or to build a sales organization, set their own hours, schedules, etc. There is no inventory to Buy, maintain or re-sell.
  • A business center is not property and may be neither purchased nor sold. The company does not sell business centers and in the same manner an ISR cannot sell one either. A Business Center is merely a computer database entry by which the Company keeps track of commissionable sales and determines when commissions are payable and the amount. The property right of an ISR's is his contractual right under his ISR Agreement to receive commissions earned so long as he performs the considerable personal responsibilities and obligations to the Company and to any sales organization created, and further complies with Company policies and procedures and all governmental regulations.
  • It is mathematically possible under the Company’s performance-driven Compensation Plan to earn as much as $10,000.00, as to each business center. It is also true, however, that the rewards received are in direct proportion to one’s selling ability and personal efforts expended, and that an ISR who does nothing will receive nothing. Any ISR who states to a prospect that the prospect will not have to do any work or only minimal work, or that the sponsor will build the prospect’s downline for them, or that the prospect need only sponsor two, four, etc. people into the Company in order to receive commissions without having to sell products, has misrepresented the Company and thereby subjected themselves to suspension or termination.

Question    Does The Gold Project accept personal checks?
Answer    NO. Personal checks will be returned.
Question    Why is $5 printed on the 1/10th oz. American Eagle?
 Answer
The United States Congress authorized a replication of the 1907 $20 American Eagle gold piece in the following weights and arbitrary denominations:
Quantity Amount
1 ounce $50
1/2 ounce $25
1/4 ounce $10
1/10 ounce $ 5

Although each coin is "legal tender" for its face amount to purchase goods and services, just as are $5, $10 and $50 bills, paper money has no intrinsic value while the actual value of gold coins is determined by what a Buyer is willing to pay and the seller is willing to accept with both parties looking at the current price of gold per ounce, plus costs of minting, transporting, etc. As long as the "spot" price of gold remains above $50 per ounce above $5 per ounce, the "melt down" value of these coins exceeds their legal tender face value. The American Eagle coins are minted in two versions: "proof" and "bullion". The U.S. Mint sells to individuals only the "proof" coin, which has greater numismatic value than the bullion coin. The U.S. Mint sells the bullion coin in bulk quantities to mint-licensed distributors for re-sale to wholesalers for re-sale to retail purchasers who are more interested in gold content at a lower price than numismatic value at a higher price The Gold Project does not technically purchase direct from the U.S. Mint but through a mint-licensed distributor from which we Buy at dealer wholesale price and then sell retail to our customers. When our purchases exceed 5000 coins at a time we receive the box full of tubed coins in their original banded boxes just as they were when they left the mint.

Question    What is Phishing?
Answer    Phishing is an identity theft technique utilizing a deceptive website designed to mimic a trusted website. The goal is to dupe people into visiting the spoofed website and passing account or personal information to the site the same way they would the trusted original.

How does Phishing Work?

Phishing attacks usually take the form of an official looking email requesting that the recipient update his/her account or billing information. The email attempts to lure the victim to the spoofed site by pretending to be an official email from a trusted organization and offering a convenient link within the email to visit the site to update the requested information. Once the link is clicked the victim is directed to the spoofed site masquerading as the true site. That site is usually designed to capture private and/or account information when the user attempts to log into the bogus site.

The newest breed of phishing sites use a sophisticated bag of tricks to fool users into believing they are visiting a trusted site instead of a malicious clone. Sophisticated phishers often build their websites from pages captured from the original trusted site and modify or include code to accurately mimic the correct behavior of the trusted site to ensure the victim suspects nothing out of the ordinary. The phishing site will often capture and then pass user ID’s and passwords entered by the user to the true site to further convince users they are visiting the authentic site.

How to Protect Yourself from Phishing

It is important for users to be suspicious of any email prompting a user to click a link and enter private or account information to a website linked within an email. Review any url contained in an email before clicking to ascertain its authenticity. Some phishing attacks rely on the use of similar site names and can be mistaken for the authentic site.
