We want to make you successful, so we have included some helpful
marketing tips for you down below. The first thing that you have to
understand with internet marketing is that, on the average, someone will
see an advertisement seven times before they buy. That is just a fact of
life, so repetition is the key to being successful when marketing on the
internet. Do not expect to send out some ads and make a bundle of money
right away. You have to be consistent and repetitious in order to make
this work. There are many outlets for paid advertising. You can just go
to Google, type in "internet advertising" and you will find a virtual
treasure trove of resources. Just be careful and do some research before
buying as there are a lot of dubious sales people who scam people all
the time.
We will now show you how to get some free advertising as well. The first
thing that you must do is to set up a few free email boxes. You can use
Hotmail or Yahoo for that, as well as many others. You will need those
because free advertising resources work on a "I'll show you mine if you
show me yours" basis. In other words, they usually require that you
receive ads as well as send them. Here are the places to look for free
advertising:
Manual (only) traffic exchanges. Once again - go to Google (or any
other search engine) and just type in "ree manual traffic exchanges".
You join, post your ad, and you get credits by viewing other ads. Manual
exchanges must be used as automatic exchanges do not require anyone to
view your ad.
Safelists. Once again - just go to a search engine and type in
"Safelist". Always try to use double optin safelists as that virtually
prevents anyone from crying "spam". You email an ad to the Safelist
members, and they email an ad back to you. That is why you set up a
dummy email account.
Blogs. Blogs usually require no reciprocal ads, so they are a good
place to post your ad. Just a short sentence and your affiliate url is
all you will need to post there. Once again - just go to your favorite
search engine and type in "Blog".
Forums. Same as Blogs i.e. just post a short note and your affiliate
url.
Yahoo Groups. Find a group that has the same interests as you, join,
wait a bit, and then tell them about us.
Classifieds. Use your search engine, type in "free classifieds" and
voila! There are quite a few out there for free, as well as paid.
Newsletters. You can either join someone's newsletter and run an ad
there or just create your own. If you are well versed in a certain
subject, then by all means start your own newsletter. You can advertise
there as well as charge others to advertise. Newsletters are generally
just email information that is sent out. Make sure that you use a double
optin function and also have a unsubscribe function.
Others. There are many resources on the internet that you can use.
Just be creative and use the search engines. You will always find
someplace that you can post an ad.
The key, once again, is to keep sending out ads. There are NO shortcuts,
magic programs, or methods other than doing it again and again. If
anyone tells you otherwise, run!! Good luck to you all and we do hope
that this was helpful.
