Manual Traffic Exchanges

Manual Traffic Exchanges are an effective no-cost way of getting your site in front of people who are serious about marketing. The fact that people take the time out of their day to manually surf other sites, in order to get their sites seen, in itself proves that they are serious.

Each manual traffic exchange has it's own policies, rules and setup, but the principles are the same, basically, you surf other folks' site for an allotted time (usually 10-30 seconds) to gain credits so that your site will be shown to others.

The great thing about manual traffic exchanges is that you have to wait for the timer to end before you click for the next site or you won't get the credits. This gives the advertiser a certain amount of time to 'convince' you to either read more of their site, or take some action to find out more (click somewhere, fill in your name and email, etc.).

The downside to manual traffic exchanges are that you have to spend some time on them. Most allow you to upgrade, and as a paid member, some give you enough credits so that you don't have to spend any time surfing, but that's only a few.

This is your business, and to be successful you will spend either time or money (usually both), so accept that fact and choose which is best for you. If your advertising budget is tight, then spend the time!

Take the time to visit each one and check out their rules and surf ratios (how many sites you must view to have yours displayed once), and join as many as possible. Remember, the more traffic exchanges are displaying your site, the more potential you have for getting members in your IFGC downline.
