OUR ABUNDANT HEALING IN
CHRIST
We are worth our hopes and dreams. There are God given desires in
the Christians heart. God believes in your dreams and wants to give
you the desires of your heart. More importantly, they are what God
desires for you, individually. God wants us to develop: personally,
acquire wisdom, and attain the spiritual desires in His heart for
you. Therefore, we need ask, seek, and knock to know God’s desires
and destiny for us.
God’s people perish for a lack of knowledge and have lost, or do not
understand, His vision for their lives. Your life is God’s gift to
you. Let what you do with your life be your gift to God!
Time is just a shadow in this life. What we do with our life can
make a difference in time. Whatever we do is important and how we do
it will create our happenstance.
Dreams and desires become reality when we believe God’s truth about
ourselves. Faith is a gift given to us through consistently and
passionately focusing on His Truth. This is what must happen to feel
blessed and experience abundance. We need to count the cost and
surrender to God to realize the payoff. God is in our corner working
for us.
Abundance is having more than we could ever use of any item that we
place a high value upon. Abundance comes from doing what we love and
making sure everyone receives the true value of what we offer. Do
what you love that others would be willing to invest in and reach a
multitude of people intelligently to build an abundance by giving
the treasure away.
The terms we associate with abundance as well as the beliefs we heard
growing up give us an image. The reasons people don’t already have
abundance is that they need to overcome their mis-belief or unbelief.
The task before us is the transformation of our thinking, and it takes
regeneration, a renewed heart and spirit from God so that we can know
and understand spiritual truth. Only then will we be ready to
understand ‘mastery’.
Mastery - the willingness to lay down everything that so easily
besets us, to be obedient to the will of God, to know He calls us
and draws us ever closer to a true knowledge of Him, as to conform
us to an image and likeness of His Son, enabled by the power of
God’s Spirit, through His grace and mercy, received from the throne
of grace, the gift of God, which works by faith through love.
To receive abundance, we’ll learn how others did, and do what they
do. Learn to manage abundance and share your abundance with others.
Then, the more freely we give, the more we ultimately receive. Above
all we’ll be a cheerful giver and praise and thank God for the
opportunity to give it away without expecting anything in return.
And, then we’ll prosper believing God’s blessing will come from
anywhere at anytime.
In order to live an Abundant Life in Christ there are many things
needed to be done in order to walk in obedience to the Holy Spirit.
There are things we need to do and things God will do for us. Faith
towards God is living out what we truly believe having learned to
‘trust in God’ in any situation. Only through the trials of faith
while walking in His Spirit will we be given understanding.
Today is the day to live passionately with faith towards God. First
of all, we must believe that God is, and, that He is a rewarder of
them that diligently seek Him. In doing so we will find our rest in
Him. God wants us to live according to His will and learn to rest
and be content in all situations. Contentment is being thankful for
all things, knowing God is the Author and Finisher of our sacred
trust.
God knows that when we start to receive the benefits of the Abundant
Life in Christ we will truly seek Him. God desires that we seek Him
with all our heart, soul, mind, and spirit, out of gratitude for all
He’s done. Do you want to please God? Seek Him. What action can you
take to fulfill God’s will for your life? We will know through our
walk with God that in Christ we can do all things.
Life will always be exciting waiting to find out what plans God has
for our life. Any improvement from God should make life - more
enjoyable, easier, better, fuller, and shared. Our relationship with
God is His utmost concern. True growth and change should always
provide for personal improvements to eliminate wasted time and
effort so we can take our vacations and have downtimes. Our rest is
necessary for mental and spiritual health too.
Learn to view life from your loving Father’s perspective. Review
God’s will against your desires, the devil is at war with the Spirit
in us. God’s will is for His children to grow into the fullness of
God’s image in Christ. We need to find out and accept who we are and
believe God for any improvements.
Divine dissatisfaction comes from God the Holy Spirit and should
lead to the path that leads to growth. It means always asking,
seeking, and knocking to find our ‘‘Why, or, why not?”, when faced
with trial and tribulation. Through painful times of insecurity we
need to grasp the truth, read the Word of God, not rely on the
wisdom of the world, use guess-work, or, hear-say. This is the time
we learn to rest and rely on the whole counsel of God, His
counselors and a multitude of promises, which is the means end the
ignorance and to reach the end of our discomfort. Faith is the rule!
Probability and doubt is eliminated through the Word of God. We need
to commit to mastering the fundamentals in order to persevere
through hard times.
The abundant life begins when we surrender ourselves to God to
fulfill our destiny in us - one step at a time. In order to succeed
we must have Godly reasons and use His principles. Integrity, a new
creation character trait, will drive us to achieve our God-given
desires. The Spirit will motivate us to prayer. Each step to reach a
desire needs motivation by counting the blessing and thanking God
for his providential care along the way.
We make a choice to follow our renewed heart’s desire and take steps
that lead to immediate action; while we pray for guidance, mercy and
grace (insert heb.4:16). To put our faith into practice we need to
cast all our cares upon the Lord. The Holy Spirit cares for us and
we need to be obedient to His call and ask, seek, and knock to know
God’s will. What causes feelings of failure - find where you lack
faith and you’ll see where you lack knowledge. The false beliefs we
have cause deceptive irrational thinking which needs to be replaced
with the truth. After we find the truth in Scripture we should learn
to meditate upon them while we repeat them.
One benefit of living in the truth is to know ‘the joy of the Lord
is our strength!’ Jesus is our author and finisher of our faith, he
is our personal savior. We can know him as a friend but only after
we share in his life, burial, resurrection, and ascension. This
happens only after he reveals himself to us through the holy spirit.
We all feel hollow until he begins to fill our needs, the need he
already implanted in us. This desire for a relationship with him
inspires us to search for him. We choose to respond with love walk
towards the light as the Holy Spirit draws us ever closer.
To continually walk in Christ’s light we need only make a conscious
decision once to devote our daily life to Christ through thought,
word, and deed. Then God the Holy Spirit will take over to continue
laying a proper foundation in Christ. We are disciples of the Holy
Spirit and He will direct our paths to learn more of Christ. He is
humble and willing to lead us into all truth. The Holy Spirit will
lead us to be imitators of Christ and to be doers of the word. The
Holy Spirit will prevail upon us to let the word of God indwell us.
Through His direction we will bring glory to God’s name through our
lives. This is the fruit of the Spirit. He is the reason for the
fruit to begin to blossom in our life. It is God’s will for us soak
up the Son-shine and our heavenly Father’s approval.
CHRIST IN ME, THE HOPE OF GLORY
‘To Experience Life With Passion - Is To Glorify The Lord!’
The Joy Of The Lord Is My Strength! - Nehemiah 6:8
To practice Christianity takes an endless commitment to change and
growth. The journey is a continuum; an apparent headlong venture
into the thoughts and intents of the heart. Guided by reason, logic,
and intuitive recollections from nameless scriptural studies to
clearly facilitate the pathways to living consciously and with
integrity - A Good Christian Man.
There is an art to living passionately. To know the master of my soul,
the helmsman of a sacred trust, and His purpose for our life imposes a
responsibility upon our shoulders. We are to live out our vision to
the fullness of God’s mercy, grace, and truth. Our previous existence
without Him is mediocrity; knowing His will is going to take our new
existence to magnificence. In the eyes of the one true God and Father
of us all I am His child.
The conversion of our soul brought an awareness of our being that
caused the spirit within to be stirred from a slumber near to death.
Suddenly, almost instantaneously, there are choices to be made in
the light of revelation shown upon the once darkened corridors of a
dead consciousness. Awake from the passivity to take control of the
journey. Prepare to depart and give your life for these purposes. 1)
to bring glory to God; 2) to live a life that will bring glory to
His name; 3) by living for God’s purposes in my life; 4) to live
within the known will of God with integrity; to be conscious of the
world and my impact upon it; 5) to take responsibility; 6) to accept
myself and let people know my inner self; 7) and, to live with
myself and experience God’s grace toward myself.
The Spirit of Christ within is undaunted by the selfish nature. His
purpose is to bring the nature of man into submission to the Lord of
Glory through the revelation of His love and He will do it. Since we
are to worship God in spirit and truth we need to know God, for we
cannot worship He whom we do not comprehend nor understand. The
revelation of God to the inner man is the beginning of spiritual truth
and understanding. In this that God reveals Himself to man is the
revelation of the nature or character of God. Our consciousness of God
is His work, for there is little reason to believe mankind would seek
the creator of His own volition.
The edifice to man’s intellectualism is seen the degenerative
effects of his own self-destructive nature being of a carnal nature,
referred to as the flesh. Whether the progenitors live good moral
lives or are culpable and provide a dysfunctional atmosphere to rear
children in; the offspring are not willing to serve anyone besides
their own flesh until they are regenerated by God.
The corrupt nature or flesh is problematic to the counseling
professions, secular and Christian. From a Christian counselor’s point
of view, the secular professions that deal with behavior modification,
cannot and do not address the root cause of a client’s problem. The
problem is the nature of the client. Until their spiritual death is
undone by addressing their human nature there can be no
transformation. The counselor cannot take someone where they have
never been. The only knowledge that the secular world may convey is
empirical, where experiential knowledge is required, and the Holy
Spirit empowers the encounter by active intervention to change the
nature of the client and create a suitable habitat within for the Holy
Spirit’s everlasting presence. For in the inwrought working of the
Holy Spirit at conversion, the spirit of man is regenerated unto a
holy estate, which is fulfillment of the prophetic promise. In one
intimate moment the unholy becomes holy, a vessel approved of by God,
worthy of His everlasting residence. We are the chosen ones, the sons
and daughters of God, to be led unto heavenly battlefields for the
souls of the lost and downtrodden. We are to be the emancipators, to
declare liberty to those who were once captive to the fear of death
and hell.
CHRIST REGENERATES OUR FALLEN NATURE
God knows you for your personal commitment to continual growth in
the knowledge and wisdom of Him. By making a choice you have already
begun the journey to a deeper understanding of the truth, which will
lead you into a more personal and intimate relationship with God,
our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
The universe’s design reveals the nature of God and our divinely
created image and likeness. The simple steps to walk in the Spirit and
the inspire the lives of those who encompass your life are yours for
the taking. In this work the keys of the mystery hidden through the
ages is revealed, which is ‘Christ in you the hope of glory’.
If your faith in God is to give you life it must be based on the
truth. To live with passion we must experience His life working
through us on a daily basis. For our life to be eternally affected by
the Word of God we must come to the banqueting table and dine -
Rev.3-20-23. Truly the spirit of God in you is willing. By a
self-conscious decision you have acted in faith toward God. It is God
gift to us to reveal His life being lived through us as sons and
daughters of the Most High God, Elohim.
All of creation is waiting for the manifestation of the Sons and
daughters of God who were born, not by the will of man, but by the
power and wisdom of God. For you have been called out to be a chosen
generation to manifest the riches and goodness of His grace through
the life of Christ within you.
The truth is plain to see for those who are born of the Spirit. For we
have received the Spirit of love, power, and a sound mind so that we
are not tossed about by every wind of doctrine. Now we are the
children of God who are led by His Spirit. We have been quickened,
born again of His Spirit to proclaim the Good News - Isaiah 61.
We have been changed; we have received a renewed heart and spirit.
In Christ Jesus we can do all things. By submitting to God’s will we
have received eternal life; we were chosen to serve God by His
calling is His enabling; the fruit of His Spirit works in our life;
and, we have been called out of darkness and into the marvelous life
in Christ.
DISCIPLESHIP TO CHRIST ALONE!
Discipleship to Christ empowers to live passionately, to appropriate
the blessings of God’s unmerited presence, and His Spirit to work in
our lives though...
1. understanding the concept of being members of the body of Christ

habitual sin
EMOTIONAL HEALINGS IN CHRIST
Christians are part of God’s new creation, the Church. We have been
regenerated, changed by God through our relationship with our Lord,
Jesus Christ. We needed permanent change in our lives. By the will
of God, He changed us into the likeness of His Son. Our prior
opposition to God underscored the fact that we needed
transformation.
‘Sanctification’
is the process of ongoing change God uses to bring us to maturity
and image of His Son, having the characteristics of Jesus. This
transformation involves surrendering our life to the will of God.
Understanding this fact is crucial. The Good News is that He is
always waiting for us to respond to the Holy Spirit’s call - every
day, any time, and any where to continue the regeneration.
People cannot change without letting God into their lives, nor will
they without God's intervention. Jesus is standing outside of
someone's life just waiting to be let in. In Revelation 3:20, Jesus
models His redemptive efforts by stating, ‘Behold, I stand at the door
and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in
to him, and will dine with him, and he with Me.’ Jesus is always
waiting for us to open the door; He does not force the door open to
enter another's life without permission. Jesus gains entrance only by
our response to His invitation and our permission. Without consenting
to God, the personal changes we desire will not take place.
The basic belief that humans cannot change themselves is central to
Christianity. The process of change begins in the individual and
comes through his or her relationship with God. One of the results
of salvation is establishing communion or fellowship with God. God
recognizes our need for free choice and initiative by creating each
one of us uniquely. The relationship we have gained through
salvation involves a collaborative process for change called
‘sanctification’.
God’s sovereignty limits our freedom and is not a violation of the
freedom and control of the individual to run or ruin his or her own
life. However, God’s sovereign will for our life limits our freedom
in the same manner that a parent limits a child’s freedom: to
protect them from harm. Discipline is a form of love to prevent
further injury or loss.
Jesus can use us to get inside another person by using the same
tools He used to get through to us. By reflecting His life, others
can see us as being a safe enough person to be allowed into their
life. God’s children are constantly being transformed to emulate
these same qualities Jesus conveyed to wounded hearts. Believers
receive the healing touch from God, and reflect the qualities and
character Jesus revealed in His ministry. Jesus revealed a loving,
non-judging attitude, and respect for the person regardless of the
problem. There is need for empathetic understanding in counselors,
which allows and encourages a person’s self-determination. There is
a real need for confidentiality; and, above all, real, non-defensive
openness.
People have a hard time believing that they are worthy of another's
love. Our concern is that building a relationship may be difficult. It
takes a frightful amount of time to build a trusting relationship.
People need to learn how to challenge spiritually and culturally
determined bases of self-esteem in order to change. We must lead them
to the truth to drink from the well-springs of salvation. Only with
God’s Word can they challenge the deception and delusion that prevails
this world. We can outline how past mores and norms challenge the
truth in our effort to help others find their freedom ‘in Christ’.
Christianity is a lifestyle. It is a cultural change and begins with
a person receiving a new heart and spirit and they become part of a
brand new creation ‘in Christ’.
The first step in resolving our problem is acknowledging the need
for God's intervention in our life in order to change. ‘We have
found the enemy and it is us!’ - Pogo. The very nature of the false
identity of the natural man produces negative pictures that
influence our lives. The pattern of influence is cyclical, beginning
with negative internal dialogue, reinforced by negative
self-picturing, resulting in negative feeling, and finally producing
negative behavior. The sensory cycle may vary a lot with different
personalities.
However, self-esteem develops in relation to others: what others say
to us, how others look at us, what others feel toward us, and how
others act toward us. These messages shape our own responses, views,
feelings, and behavior toward ourselves. The program may be positive
or negative but God's true intent is that He does not want humanity
to rely on their own devices to meet their needs. God wants to
supply all of our needs through His riches ‘in Christ’.
Originally our self-esteem comes from what significant people in our
lives say about us, and what we repeat to ourselves. We may not even
be aware of these messages. People will view themselves, feel about
themselves, and act toward themselves the way important people in
their lives have done. The positive or negative patterns get started
by what people say to themselves about their performance or how others
treat them. Accepting ourselves or rejecting our personhood is the
basis for loving relationships with others. We primarily rely on the
overt and/or covert messages our family and significant others pass on
to us for self-esteem and self-love. However, the truth is that God
totally accepts us and bases our worth on His nature and character,
not on our performance. God established our worth on Christ’s
performance for us two-thousand years ago at Calvary. Our culture
bases our worth on outward appearance and performance while God looks
at the thoughts and intents of the heart. Do not get caught in the
performance trap. Allow God's love revealed through Jesus in you to
bring forth his grace and truth in life.
OUR EMOTIONAL LIFE IS BEING TRANSFORMED
We are a new creation in Christ We have been changed in a flash, in
the twinkling of an eye, for the Spirit of God we received is one of
love, power and a sound mind. We have been given a sound mind to
overcome the obstacles to faith and healing.
Consequences are a result of actions that spring from beliefs we hold
to be true. They limit our potential if the principle is not based on
the truth. When we discover misbeliefs, we need to resolve the issue
with God and ourselves; we need to make restitution where possible and
reconcile if possible and damaged relationships.
Discovering our deepest beliefs to be congruent with the Word of God
will enable us to manifest the life of Christ in our relationships.
Finding out what misbeliefs we hold to be true can liberate us from
the debilitating prison of unforgiveness or sin. Whether the sin is of
omission or commission does not matter. The fact that we are repentant
and sorry for offending God or His creations will liberate us so that
we can pursue our destiny unencumbered.
Our conscience can be renewed if we bend our wills in the light of
God’s will and repent of the pain we’ve inflicted consciously or
unconsciously upon others. We’ve all experienced some sort of pain in
life and when we comprehend that our behavior limits or liberates us
in receiving God’s blessings the choice to turn toward God is simple.
Conversion comes from God when He accepts our works worthy of
repentance for having broken the moral law of God. Upon accepting the
conviction we know we need to be changed. Then we are prompted to call
upon God who is rich in mercy and approach the thrown of Grace. The
quickening of our Spirit is God’s choice and it is His desire that no
one should perish. The Holy Spirit convicted us through God’s moral
law to lead us to Christ. When we receive Jesus as our Lord, Savior
and Life, we receive all the benefits of His sacrifice which totally
satisfied God’s righteous wrath. Therefore we have access to the
throne of grace and can come boldly before God with our petitions
since we are in an eternal relationship sanctified by the blood of
Jesus Christ. He is the Lord of the new covenant and a priest before
God on our behalf ever making intercession for the saints. We have
been set apart by God for His purpose which is to fulfill His will,
which is to lead many sons and daughters to redemption.
In order to change we must recognize the moral law of God as good and
holy. When we obey the law we are free from the accusations of an
awakened conscience. It is your conscience that brought the light to
bear upon your understanding that by nature there was, or is an
intrinsic force acting upon your thought process to seek out self -
satisfaction regardless of the consequence. The moral law was given to
wake up the deadened consciences of us all since none of us escaped
the curse of Adam and lost a true knowledge of God and His holy and
incorruptible nature. The moral law in and of itself is the expression
of holiness; the Lord Jesus Christ is the express image of God in the
flesh. God’s will for our life is to live a holy life. In order to
fulfill God’s ordained will, the Holy One of God comes into us to live
His life through us in the power of the abiding Holy Spirit.
Since we have received the Holy Spirit to empower us in our choice
to live a Holy life, we can fulfill the moral law of God as we
humble our self-life and allow the Holy Spirit to lead us. With a
clear understanding of God’s moral law we can choose to obey the
voice of the Holy Spirit, thus fulfilling the moral law perfectly.
Or, we may choose to ignore the righteous edicts of the small still
voice on our conscience and the Holy Spirit to reap a harvest of
conflict, possibly unto destruction.
The only true liberty a Christian has comes in their ability to
fulfill the moral law since we are no longer captive to the power of
sin since the carnal nature has been crucified with Christ. We may be
deceived by the enemy when we don’t walk in the light of God’s Word;
the Word of Truth will expose the deception.
In order to walk in the Spirit we must learn and know the moral law so
that we may discover the ways we were deceived. When God eliminated
the root cause for our errors we became eligible to receive the
promises and blessing of Abraham. When we resolve the conflict between
our flesh and the Spirit of truth by reckoning it dead on the cross we
will be set free to reign through life as a king and priest unto God.
In order for us to walk with the Spirit we must know the moral law
so that we desire to recognize the voice of the Spirit of truth.
There is a spirit of error so we need to recognize the truth to
resist the fiery darts. This happens over time while we walk with
God, the Holy Spirit. He is the One who is working inwrought
holiness to us through His presence working in us.
When we understand the correlation between the suffering of Christ on
the Cross to the pain we have inflicted upon the people we have sinned
against, we may perceive the understanding we need to be transformed
into the image of Christ. Until we come to understand that we are the
reason Jesus had to die there can be no rational reason to accept His
Lordship. When we understand the holiness of God and that we cannot of
our own free choice live a holy life then we are ready to hear the
voice of God crying out to repent and call upon the name of the Lord.
The principle reason for seeking change in our lives only comes after
knowledge of the pain or pleasure, we will avoid or receive, if we do
not take action. In order to desire a change we must identify what
pleasure we will receive or the pain we will avoid. To effect a change
all we need to do is count the cost of our action or lack thereof.
When we place a high enough value upon the pleasure we seek or the
pain we wish to avoid, the motivating force to complete the journey
will be there.
What is the motive of the heart concerning change? Is it to please God
or avoid the pain we rightly deserve? Do we worship God for what He
does for us? Or, do we worship Him for whom He is?
As a Christian born of God’s Spirit we have a renewed heart and spirit
that desires to praise and worship God for whom He is. If indeed we
have the Spirit, we have received One of love, power, and a sound
mind. Therefore we only need to acquire a purer knowledge of who God
is in order to worship Him in spirit and truth. To know the width,
breadth, height and depth of God’s commandments is to gain an intimate
knowledge of our Creator and Father.
In order for us to come to comprehend the deity of the Lord Jesus
Christ, and the excellency of His sacrifice, we must receive a
revelation from God. The Gospel is the good news. For in the Good News
is the revelation of the god/man Emanuel (God with us) who all the
prophets testify of. He is the Christ, the anointed one who came to
reveal grace and truth. His life is the revelation of God’s grace or
presence working in our lives.
Jesus’ life is also the revelation of the truth as seen on the Cross
that bears witness to the wrath and justice of God. We see the wrath
of God for mankind’s sin being poured out in full; we know God does
punish sin. Jesus accepted our sin and became sin that He may also
become the justifier of everyone who comes to Him. When Jesus
accomplished the Father’s will He cried out, “It is finished!” On the
third day we see the justice of God in the resurrection of His Son as
He rose from the grave having defeated death and hell to reign as Lord
of Lords and King of Kings.
The gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. When we look to the
past, counting the numerous times we assaulted and battered God’s
children, we can stop the repetition if we humble ourselves before God
and pray. When you want to stop offending God you will accept
responsibility for all behavior. We will no longer blame someone else.
We are guilty and know that God who is rich in mercy will forgive us
when we turn to Him and repent.
HEALING FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS
Identity; competence; and worth! What role do these factors play in
our faith toward God? God gave us Jesus as the role model worthy of
our allegiance. We received a spirit of love, power, and a sound
mind to fulfill His will. Where do we go from here?
What internal and external forces shape our perceptions? External
forces - the environment; Verbal - experiences, significant others,
parents, organizations, the culture; and, Internals - our
contribution or detriment to being a living epistle.
Our role in God’s plan is shaped by our values, convictions, and
contribution to live with passion. Our individual worth to God is
revealed through His promises to us; we are an important part of
God’s plan; we have been created for His pleasure. The source of our
joy and happiness is to know God and find our place in service to
Him.
God takes away our guilt and shame or inferiority - we are
acceptable, faith in God is a clear path based on the facts of His
salvation in Christ, which leads to truth and the revelation of
God’s love for us.
Vulnerability is a trait of those who are resting in the finished
work of the Cross, knowing that God has accepted the Lord Jesus
Christ’s sacrifice for the atonement of sin. Understanding the
Excellency of Christ’s sacrifice will significantly increase your
trust in God’s plan for mankind and your life. Jesus is or is not
the Lord of your life. There is no middle ground.
We all need to live before God knowing that we are acceptable so
that we may fulfill our destiny in an adaptable fashion. We need to
be acceptable in our own eyes so that when we come before God, we
know that we are acceptable. The consequences of living a virtuous
life - the power to change and grow. The battle cry of the
Reformation is a call to action. We look at what is possible if we
live by faith towards God. The self-life of individuals is a
reflection of whom they believe they are and is in a direct
relationship to their value system. ‘We live as the person we
believe the ‘self’ to be.’
The source of our faith is our experience with God. Spiritual
awareness is living out our personal expectations we impose upon our
selves through the conscious mind. Our faith is based on a personal
belief system and is the expression of the light we walk in. Personal
assertiveness is validated through the truth we experience. Only the
truth we experience can give us a sense of peace and self-acceptance.
By taking personal responsibility for living purposefully we receive a
sense of integrity. The nature and roots of our faith is in the facts,
as we experience and learn to trust in God, His Word, and the leading
of the Holy Spirit.
